How
Use their myGov account or an ATO request to list every super account in their name, including lost and unclaimed amounts.
Check old payslips and PAYG summaries, which name the fund each employer paid into.
Contact each trustee to report the death and request the claim pack.
Ask each fund whether insurance is attached to the account, since it very often is.
What to bring
A certified copy of the death certificate
Their tax file number
Member numbers for each fund
Details of all dependants
