The Deeds Office, the bond holder if the property is mortgaged, or the conveyancing attorney who handled the purchase.
How
If there is a bond, phone the bank, they hold the original title deed until the bond is settled.
If the bond is paid up, the deed may be in a home safe or with the attorney who did the transfer.
A conveyancer can obtain a deeds search to confirm exactly what property is registered in their name.
Run the search even if you think you know, second properties and inherited land turn up regularly.
